She was predeceased by: her parents, George Young and Ellen Young; her husband Robert Boyd; her son Allan Boyd; her brothers, Andrew, Bernard, Donald and Alfred Young; her sisters-in-law, Helen, Mary and Irene; her nephew Chris Young; and her niece Vicki Young.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Joyce Young; and her nieces and nephews, Paul Young, George Young, Arinda Bowman and Kathy Young. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as many of her husband's family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the North Country and Altona Fire department.
