He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Schmolz and Theodore Schmolz; and his children, Ted Helgans (Kim) and Kathy Helgans. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; and his daughters, Karen Moulds (Pete), Karla Petriccione (Pete), Kim Donahue (John) and Kelly Somer (Aaron).
