She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Gilmore; and her brother Paul. She is survived by: her children, Joan (Dave Fenner), James (Diane Gilmore), Virginia Gilmore (Steve Bertschi), Terence (Regina Gilmore), Thomas (Bernadette Gilmore) and Jeff (Maureen Gilmore); her grandchildren, Cara, Jimmy, Caroline, Katherine, Terence, Mary, James, Kyra and John; and her great grandchildren, Cormac, Mary, Suzie, June and Lucy.
Memorial donations can be made in Joan's memory to The American Cancer Society, St. Judes or The leukemia and lymphoma society of America.
