It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred J. Morini Sr. of Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cesare Morini and Grace Morini; his siblings, Louis, Rena (Cotugno) and Salvatore; and his grandson Patrick Bresonis (Julie).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sullivan; his children, Dr. A. J. Morini Jr. and Jacqueline Bresonis; his children-in-law, Dr. William Bresonis, D. Robert Enten, Barbara (Iannotti) and Martha (Dugan); and his grandchildren, Katie McKee (John), John Bresonis (Martha), Maggie Stoughton (Mark), Alex Enten (Menaka), Caroline Dabney (David), Chelsea Morini (Ben), Brian Morini (Leslie), Megan Morini (Raúl), Hannah Morini-Stewart (Rob), Julia Pagliarini (Tom) and Thomas M. Morini. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riley Mortuary (110 Division St, Amsterdam, NY 12010). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St Mary's Church (156 Main St, Amsterdam, NY 12010).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Dr. Morini's name may be made to St. Mary's Church..
