With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brian Keith Lais of Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on May 4, 2025 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Brian departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Brian may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Brian leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Walter R. Lais; and also Joseph Sterba. He is survived by: his mother Linda Howland (Catello); his brothers, Donald Lais, Robert Howland and Jason Wright; and his friend Larry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
