He is survived by: his mother Luisa Mendez; his sons, Sean Mendez (Nicole) and Gabriel Mendez; his siblings, Sixto Mendez Jr., Adolfo Mendez, Evelyn Gonzalez, Yvette Cooper, Daisy Mendez, Rebecca Mendez and Jeanette Mendez; and his grandchildren, Nelson Mendez Jr., King Malakai Frost, Irick Carter Jr., Jaazaniyah Franklin-Mendez, Jayah Franklin-Mendez, Quentin Mendez and Ezraya Mendez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Rossi Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home - Amsterdam (171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
