With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Heleen Heyning of Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on April 6, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Heleen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her brother Tjalling Heyning of South Kortright; and her parents, Bart Heyning and Kia Heyning of The Hague, Netherlands.. She is survived by: her daughter Alexis; her son-in-law Ryan Nethery; her brothers, Nicolaas Heyning and Bart Heyning; and her nephews, Julius Heyning, Philip Heyning and Pieter Heyning.
