He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cook and Mabel Cook (Morley); his wife Carole Mae Wood; and his siblings, Louie Levandosky (Edward), Muriel Papura (William), David Cook and Ralph Cook.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Cook (David) and Margaret Cook (Ralph); his close friend Judy Cronk; his nephew David Papura; and his niece Carol Phillis (Judy Cronk). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's name to the Animal Protection Agency, 53 Maple Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12302.
