He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Meca and Lu Lu Semeton Meca; and his sisters, Ruth Auspelmyer, Irene Laska, Marlene Loucks and Caroline Langlier.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Phillips Meca; his son Peter J. Meca; and his stepchildren, Carl Boerner of Prince George, VA and Jennifer Evans of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riley Mortuary (110 Division St, Amsterdam, NY 12010).
