With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Iwanski of Amsterdam, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester A. Iwanski and Genevieve Smith Iwanski Sr.; his nephew Rob Shang III; and his brother Chester A. Iwanski Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Teri Gardinier of Central Square, NY. and Christie Meers (Wes Selden) of Fultonville, NY.; his sister Debra Shang (Bob) of Amsterdam; his grandchildren, Connor Gardinier, Collin Erb and Karyn Castellano; his niece Sheree Phillips; and his nephews, James J. Iwanski and Michael Shang (Alison).

Memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA, 1232 State Hwy 5S, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
