We announce the death of Robert Rymarz of Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on October 28, 2026, at the age of 64. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Robert’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his mother Joy Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Rymarz; his children, Robbie Rymarz, Brianna Rymarz and Renee Nesbitt (Matthew); his half-brother Jack Rymarz of Tennessee; Devanie and Josiah. He is also survived by pets; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rossi Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home - Amsterdam (171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at the Fairview Cemetery (272 Upper Steadwell Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert's memory to Kitten Angels, a volunteer-run nonprofit cat rescue organization based in Mayfield, NY.
