She was predeceased by : her parents, Cyriel Steyaert and Carol Steyaert; her husband Edward F. Herba, Jr.; and her siblings, Roger Cyriel Steyaert and Phyllis Jo Elgin.

She is survived by : her sons, Edward Herba (Chip), Dr. Matthew Herba (Zuleida) and Christopher Herba (Kate); and her grandchildren, Carlie Ann, Ava Rose, Ezekiel Franklin, Leona Rae, Lillian Reed and Rosalie Eletta.
