He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Joan and Mary Joan; his stepmother Carmella Oropallo; and his brother Patrick. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Oropallo (Debbie), Francis Oropallo (late Marisela), Russell Mahar (Dorene), Theresa Sorenson, Catherine Saj (Chet), Mary Elizabeth Manderson (Dean), Timothy Oropallo (Rose), Stephen Oropallo, Patricia Smith, Ann Marie Alteri (Peter) and Margaret Semon (Kurt). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
