He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas R. Pagano and Louise Sgueglia; his brother Captain Lawrence Pagano; and his grandparents, Pasquale and Anita Pagano.

He is survived by: his daughter Marlo VanDunk (Donald B. VanDunk Jr.); his grandchildren, Ryan, Dennis, Dimitrius and Mikayla; and his siblings, Emelia Pagano-Schwiebert, Patricia Forsythe and Richard Pagano. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
