He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Young and Isabelle O'Shaughnessy Young; and his siblings, Russell Young, Robert Young, Eleanor Paris and Dorothy "Dot" Young.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen E. Oathout Young; his sons, Thomas Young Jr. (Tammy), Michael Jeffrey Young (Laurie) and Peter Brian Young (Kara); his grandchildren, Andrew, Kaitlyn, Mikaela and Camille; and his great grandchildren, Braxton, McKinley and Ryker.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Riley Mortuary Inc. (110 Division St, Amsterdam, NY 12010). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Riley Mortuary (110 Division St, Amsterdam, NY 12010). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
