He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alexaitis and Magdalene Vakielaitis Alexaitis; and his brothers, George, John and Joseph.

He is survived by: his children, Deborah Kameka (Mark) and Glenn Alexaitis (Nancy); his grandchildren, Cara Pelletier (Michael), Ryan Alexaitis (Emily Hidde), Amy Beth Blowers (Jason), Steven Kameka (Elise), Daniel Morgan, Elizabeth Morgan and Katherine Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Makenna, Malia, Kyla of Alexa, A. J., Harper, Tristan and Savannah. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the The Fisher House Foundation, 133 Holland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208 to aide Veteran's and their families.
