He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradford Parsons and Margaret Parsons (Swartz); his brother David Parsons; and his aunt Muriel "Peggy" Parsons. He is survived by: his friends, Wally and April Elliott; his close friend Cindy Mackay; his children, Ryan Parsons, Dr. Hillary Parsons, Shane Parsons, John Mackay and Jennifer Duffy; his grandchildren, Kellan, Lucy Duffy, Connor, Madison and Robert Parsons; and his sister Ann Brunese. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (2364 NY-82, Ancram, NY 12502). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
