He was predeceased by: his parents, William Truesdell and Mabel Truesdell (McQueen); his wife Carol Truesdell (Merwin); and his siblings, James Truesdell and Marian Calhoun.
He is survived by: his sons, Herbert Truesdell (Nancy McNamara) of Andes and Gene Truesdell of West Winfield, NY; his grandchildren, Shelby Mantello (Paul), Jeremy Truesdell (Nichole), Dannielle Drumm and Ethan McNamara of Walton; his great grandchild Leona Mantello; his brother Lauren Andes (Kathy Fenton); and his close friend John Bouton of Andes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
