The memory of Joan Rosella Ferris of Angelica, New York, who passed away on April 13, 2026 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Bowen Jackson and Willett Charles Jackson; her husband Kenneth A. Ferris; her siblings, Jean Klein, Celia Ponton and James Jackson; her daughter Carol Heveron; her grandson Carl Haggstrom; and her in-laws, James, Jan Ferris, Randall, Ruby Ferris, Henry Klein, Gus, Eleanor Ritz and Lyle DeMocker.
She is survived by: her sister Linnett DeMocker; her daughters, Leslie Haggstrom (David) and Virginia Ferris; her grandchildren, Gabriel Sloane (Shari), John Haggstrom (Mindy), Margaret Riter (Bryan), Katharine Sherwood (Jeff) and Candace Clapp (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Elijah, Raygen, Christian, Ayden, Aria, Stella, Finley, Ryan, Cade and Easton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
