He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Rose Claypool; and his son Eric Wheeler (Christina). He is survived by: his children, Richard Claypool (Anna) and Cherl Prentice (Lee); and his siblings, Bertha George (Louis), Leonard Claypool (Maxine), Ruth Grusendorf (Fred), James Claypool (Teresa) and Terry Thomas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and at 1:30 PM at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home (101 West Ave, Angelica, NY 14709).
