She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. VanDette Sr.; and her parents, William Ellis and Daisy Ellis. She is survived by: her son Robert E. VanDette, Jr.; her siblings, Mark Ellis (Barb) and Debbie Crawn; her stepdaughter Deborah Miller; and her bassett hound Duke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Bev's honor may be made to the local animal shelter.
