We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2025, Douglas F. Mathewson of Angola, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sue (Peterson); and his parents, Christy Mathewson and Grace Mathewson (Ryerse). He is survived by: his brother Chris (Kathy). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and many friends.
