He was predeceased by: his close friend Susan Kelleher; his parents, Wilbert Kraus and Kathleen Kraus; and his siblings, Dorothy Pretronsky (Joe), Alan Kraus (Kathy), Paul Kraus, David and Carmen Conway (Tom).

He is survived by: his children, Tina Kraus-Brown, Carol Tamol (Brian) and DeeDee Soto (Alex); his grandchildren, Brianna and Gregory Tamol; his stepgranddaughters, Katie Smith and Jenny Rizzo; and his brothers, Ron Kraus (Donna) and Tom Kraus (Kathy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
