In the vast expanse of eternity, Shirley shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shirley farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Gerwitz; her son Daniel Gerwitz (Christine); and her siblings, Wayne, Dennis, Phyllis and Lyla Dorr.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Gerwitz (Mary Anne), Terry Bateman, Alan Gerwitz (Lynn) and Bruce Gerwitz; and her sisters, Janice Amidon, Nancy Dorr and Donna Wicinski. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
