He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Alberts and Donald J. Alberts; and his brothers, Donald S. and Samuel Alberts. He is survived by: his son Joshua Alberts; his grandchildren, Brooklynn and Marleigh Alberts; and his siblings, Loretta Cooper, Diana Erick, Madalyn Alberts (Pat Drager), Larry Alberts (Kathy), John Alberts, Richard Alberts, David Alberts (Teresa) and Michael Alberts. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the John J Kaczor Funeral Home, Inc. (5453 Southwestern Blvd, Hamburg, NY 14075). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Most Precious Blood Church (22 Prospect St, Angola, NY 14006). A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (9688 S Main St, Angola, NY 14006).
