She was predeceased by: her husband Roger A. Rake; and her parents, Francis Nystrom and Elsie Nystrom (Ennis). She is survived by: her children, Richard (Marie Rake), Robert (Cindy Rake) and Heather Rivenbark of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Rissa, Sean, Amber and Ryan; and her great grandchild Landon. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Broome County ASPCA in memory of Barbara and in honor of her beloved dog, Riley.
