It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Wormuth of Apalachin, New York, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Andrew Floyd; her son Terry Wormuth II; and her siblings, Ken and Florence. She is survived by: her mother Dora "Kent" Floyd; her daughter Rebecca Hampton (David); her siblings, Fred, Andy, Wayne, Randy, Blanche, Mary and Margie; her grandchildren, Terry Wormuth III, Alyssah Brown (Ryan), Levi George (Ashley) and Elizabeth Bega (Vince); and her great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Harper, Sylas, Greyson and George.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:50 PM at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. (9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cortland Rural Cemetery (110 Tompkins St, Cortland, NY 13045).
