In the sacred silence of farewell, Janet is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Janet's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Rafferty (Heather) and Kristen Rafferty; her grandchildren, Christopher Westbrook, Angelena Rafferty and Isabella Rafferty; and her sister Debra Hares. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home (300 E Main St, Endicott, NY 13760). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Vestal Hills Memorial Park (3997 Vestal Rd, Vestal, NY 13850).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Janet's memory to the Alzheimer's Association CNY Chapter (5015 Campuswood Drive, Suite 102, East Syracuse NY 13057) or The Homesteads in Apalachin (6 Main St Apalachin NY 13732), where Janet resided in assisted living.
