With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Gordon Curran (Apalachin, New York), born in Herkimer, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Richard had on those he encountered along his journey. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Curran and Veronica Curran. He is survived by: his wife Glenys Jones Curran; his children, Roger Curran (Rebecca) and Christine Wilkins (Doug); and his grandchildren, Adam, Aaron, Jaelynn Wilkins and Jacob Winkelman (Emily). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the South Apalachin Baptist Church (4116 Pennsylvania Ave, Apalachin, NY 13732). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
