He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn Heeter and Dale Heeter; his brother Kenneth Heeter (Bill); and his son Mark Heeter. He is survived by: his wife Janice Heeter (Babcock); his sister Shirley Metera (Bob); his sister-in-law Mary Lowe (Roger); his children, Rick Barton (Tina), John D. Heeter, Susan Heeter (David) and Luann Conroy (Gary); his grandchildren, Joshua Barton (Carla), Jessica Barton (Greg), Selina Downey, Heidi Conroy and J. R. Heeter (Julie); and his great grandchildren, Dylan Harris, Gabrielle Farano, Chloe Garrett and J. J. Heeter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
