He was predeceased by : his parents, John A. Rung and Virginia M. Rung (Butler); his daughter Christina Rung; and his brothers, John A. Rung and Jeff E. Rung.

He is survived by : his son Jeremy Rung (Shannon); and his brothers, James Rung (Jodi) of Naples, NY, Gary Rung (Margie) of Arcade, Curtis Rung (Susan) of Friendship and Ken Rung (Melody) of Delevan. He is also survived by three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
