He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Meyers and Zelda Meyers (Yauchzy). He is survived by : his wife Barbara Meyers (Brass); his children, Dawn Morgan (Mark) of Freedom, Donald W. Meyers (Kelly Kraft) of Freedom, Douglas Meyers (Patty) of Lakeland, FL, Dean Meyers (Linda) of Hilton, NY and Brian Meyers (Jamey Woodruff) of Arcade; and his sister Janet Meyers of Hamburg. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arcade Fire Department, P.O. Box 303, Arcade, NY 14009.
