With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernestine L. Jones of Arcade, New York, born in Hume, New York, who passed away on April 3, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold M. Bliss and Mildred E. Bliss (White); her siblings, Fred Bliss (Faith), Laura Shoemaker (Harold) and LaVerne Bliss; and her grandson Marvin N. Pringle, Sr..

She is survived by : her children, Marvin Pringle, Jr. (Julie) of Arcade, Vicki Phillips of Arcade, Jeffery Pringle of Arcade and Andrew Joslyn of West Virginia; her silbings, Ray Bliss (Linda) of Warsaw and Christine Jones (Mitchell) of Fillmore; and her sister-in-law Debbie Bliss. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W.'s. Davis, Inc. Funeral Home (358 W Main St, Arcade, NY 14009). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Yorkshire Free Methodist Church (3172 Main St, Yorkshire, NY 14173).
