He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bailey, and Rita Bailey, Sr. (Murray); his wife Cynthia Bailey (Schreiber); his stepmother Arlene Bailey (Rix); and his siblings, Rich Bailey and Anne Sugg (Chuck Wallace).
He is survived by: his children, Terri Climenhaga (Eric) of Arcade and Pat Bailey (Erica) of Freedom; his grandchildren, Christopher Climenhaga of Orchard Park, Hannah Bailey of Cuba and Austin Bailey of Freedom; his great grandchildren, Chloe and Isaac Climenhaga; and his sister-in-law Candy Bailey of Arcade. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
