He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Converse of Massena, NY. and Gladys Converse (Black). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Converse (Williams) of Franklinville, NY.; his children, Patricia McCown (Brian) of Franklinville, NY and Steven Converse (Kathleen) of Wheatfield, NY.; his brothers, Leo Converse of Winter Haven, FL, Bruce Converse (Carolyn) of Massena, NY and Merle Converse (Norma Jean) of Chase Mills, NY.; his stepmother Martha Converse (Beck); his siblings, Neil Converse (Dorothy) of Ischua, NY, Leland Converse (Dorothy) of Melbourne, FL, Harold Converse of Belmont, NY, Lloyd Converse of Belmont, NY, Hazel Marie Converse of Belmont, NY, Marcella Converse of Belmont, NY and Beatrice Fawcett (William) of Brockville, ON; and his grandson Bryan McCown of Franklinville, NY.. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (12500 Countyline Rd, Delevan, NY 14009). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints (12500 Countyline Rd, Delevan, NY 14009).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Blount Library, 5 N. Main Street, Franklinville NY 14737 in his honor.
