Jewel E. Coats Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 15, 2025, at the age of 96, Jewel E. Coats of Argyle, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Stout and Ethel Stout (Jolly); her husband Richard Coats III; her daughter Joan Russell Ramos; her grandson Andrew Mullin; and her siblings, Lola Roods, Marjorie Marotta, Boyd Stout, Janet Sheridan, Colin Stout, Gloria Calhoun, Gerald Stout, Arylus Stout, Muriel Stone and Sibyl Ketcham.

She is survived by: her children, Anna Costalas (Michael), Kathy Graham, Ethel Coats (Gene Burt) and Richard F. Coats IV (Kelly Morse); and her son-in-law Joseph Ramos. She is also survived by several grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
