With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elvira Suarez of Armonk, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustin Madero and Margarita Madero; her husband Jose Suarez; and her brothers, Fernando, Alfonso, Jose, Augustin and Julio.
She is survived by: her sister Ines Quiroga of Bogota; her children, Rose Maria Orjuela (Jairo), Sandra Lucia Pineros and Jose Hernan Suarez; and her grandchildren, Rene Orjuela (Judith), Paola Orjuela, Vanessa Tolbert (Nathan), Brittany Pineros (Sava Tshondikitis), Hope Orjuela and Christopher Orjuela. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home (418 Bedford Rd, Pleasantville, NY 10570). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel - Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532). A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
