She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond O. Bennett and Betty L. Corbett; and her sister-in-law Michele Bennett (Robert Bennett). She is survived by: her husband E. Thomas Cherry; her daughter Melissa Cherry (Shawn Conti) of Pittsburgh, PA; her stepmother Dorothy Bennett; and her siblings, Tara Haley (Robert Haley), Robert Bennett of Pittsburgh, PA and Raymond Bennett of Pittsburgh, PA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
