He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Swanson and Doris Swanson; and his wife Constance Swanson. He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Chall (David) and Jerry Swanson (Kathy); his children, Susan Mlacker (Brian) of Jamestown, Jill Rexroad (Brian) of Oak Ridge, NJ and Scott Swanson (Jeanine) of Cranberry Township, PA; and his grandchildren, Heather Conti (Justin) of Kennedy, NY, Brett Mlacker (Brittany) of Ashville, Rachel of Oak Ridge, NJ, Caralyn Rexroad of Oak Ridge, NJ, Allen Swanson (Amanda) of Mars, PA and Adam Swanson of Beaver, PA. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home, Inc. (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Hill Cemetery (665 County Touring Rte 32, Lakewood, NY 14750).
