She was predeceased by: her parents, Panagiotis Podaras and Hariklia Karakatsanis; and her husband Emanuel Zakakis. She is survived by: her children, Panagiotis Zakakis, Nektaria Francescon (Anthony) and Hariklia Lymberopoulos (George); her grandchildren, Emanuel (Tara), Allison (David), Michael (Diana), Jennifer (Bryan), Dominic and Barry; and her great grandchildren, William, Penelope, Luca, Eleonore, Eva, Vivian and Owen.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Ronald McDonald House -Greek Division.
