We bid farewell to Patricia Goodwin of Astoria, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 1, 2025 at the age of 88. Patricia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Margaret Hamilton and James Francis Sharkey; her husband Martin Joseph Goodwin (Junie); and her siblings, Thomas Sharkey and Margaret Donato.
She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Dineen (Joe), Tracy Dietz (Andy), Noreen Wortman (Fred) and Kelly Goodwin; her grandchildren, Taylor Dietz, Eric Wortman, Luke Wortman and Jack Goodwin; her nephew Christian Donato (Jennifer); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma, Logan and Keira; her nephew Danny Brady (Alicia); and her great-niece Hailey.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Joseph Farenga & Sons (38-08 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria, NY 11105). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mount St. Mary's Cemetery (172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
