He is survived by: his wife Evanthia Doufekias; his children, Chrisoula Vanikiotis, Vasiliki VanKleeck (Gary), Michael Bakatsias (Eleni) and Spiridoula Riley; and his grandchildren, Michael Amodio (Eliana), Nicholas Vanikiotis (Eleni), Evanthia Amodio (Scott), Maria Vanikiotis, Dimitrios Bakatsias, Panagiotis Bakatsias, Anastasios Bakatsias, Evanthia Riley and Stavroula Riley. He is also survived by his four great‑grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Newburgh, NY, in honor of Jimmy's faith and lifelong connection to his community.
