As Leo departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Leo may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Leo leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Leo A. Burke Jr.; and his sister Mary Francis Burke. He is survived by: his mother Patricia M. Burke (Kristin M. Burke); his daughters, Kellie Marie (Nicholas Scannell) and Katie Janette (Joshua Humphries); and his siblings, Lizbeth (Steven Nickel), William, Timothy and Thomas Burke. He is also survived by his several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sleepy Hollow Lake Lodge.
