Stephen Parks Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Stephen Parks of Atlanta, New York is shared. Stephen, born on April 5, 1943, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Parks and Hazel Parks (Deuel); his sister Shirley Hargrave (Alvin); and his brother-in-law Stan Rathbun. He is survived by: his wife Rose Parks (Wheaton); his children, Stacy Parks, Jennifer Webster (Tony) and Robin (Nick); his grandchildren, Cecilia, Lucia and Lucas Gilson (Brianne Graham); his great grandchildren, Everly Gilson and MacKenzie Brown; his sisters, Margaret and Phyllis; Shawn Gilson (Christy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (300 W Naples St, Wayland, NY 14572). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:30 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hatch Hose Fire Department in Steve's memory.
