Flint (Flint); his son Volney Spencer Jr.; his granddaughter Emily Spencer; his close friend Lorraine Kirkpatrick; and his siblings, Roberta Wright (Walt), Tom Spencer (Lotti) and Edith Jackson (Jack).

He is survived by : his children, Sharon Spencer (Volney Jr.), Peg, Jim Spencer (Althea), Betty Raponi, Barb Jamalkowski and Deb Head (Tim); his stepchildren, Linda Huff (Gary), Carol Weber and Jerry Szymanski; his sister Freida Moore (Bob); and also, Kathy Link, Rob Kirkpatrick (Debbie) and Anne Roemesser (Carl). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great and grand nieces and nephews.
