We announce the death of Ann Marie Mitchell (Au Sable Forks, New York), who passed away on October 28, 2026, at the age of 77. Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur J. and Irene M.; her husband Jerry (Jerry); her son Lucas; her brothers, Gilbert, Jerome and Bruce; her nephew Johnny; and her aunt Bea.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Bamberger (Matt) of Rome, NY and Simon of Westport, NY; her grandchildren, Annie and Dax Bamberger; her siblings, Gene (Donna) of Springwater, Dale (Mary) of Mineville, Sue Driskell of Shreveport and Carol Schaefer of Mineville; her sisters-in-law, Judy Brassard of Port Henry, Rosanna Brassard of Savannah, Georgia, Sue Ann Brassard of Port Henry and Ginny Mitchell of Keeseville; and her friend Mary Brassard of Ellenburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Name Church (10 Church Ln, Au Sable Forks, NY 12912).
Donations in Ann's name may be made to Holy Name Catholic Church.
