With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Stanley (Au Sable Forks, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Evelyn leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Stanley and Martha Haywood; and her sister Shirley Stanley. She is survived by: her extended family, Jane Thwaits (Tom), Peggy Bombard (Marvin), Chuck Haywood, Sr. (Kathy), Bob Haywood (Sue) and Judy Hart (Tim).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Evie's name to a charity of choice or to St. James Episcopal Church in Au Sable Forks.
