Barbara Latanyshyn Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Latanyshyn of Auburn, New York, who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Latanyshyn to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Slon and Maria Slon; and her husband Mytro Latanyshyn. She is survived by: her children, Donna Latanyshyn, Myron Latanyshyn (Valerie), John Latanyshyn (Mary), Roman Latanyszyn and Bo Latanyshyn; her granddaughters, Katie Stam (Nick), Liz O'Donnell (Conor) and Emily Domingo (Delfidio); her great grandchildren, Gracie, Johnny and Jay; and her brothers, Marion Slon of Poland and Kaziek Prokopczk of Poland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
