He was predeceased by: his father Ted J. Thurston; and his sister Amy Nichole Thurston. He is survived by: his mother Pamela Grady (Clark) of Inman, SC; his sons, Nicholas and Nathan Thurston; his father-in-law Joe; and his stepsiblings, Carmel Grady, Kim Grady and Jim Grady.
