He was predeceased by : his parents, Mabel Edmunds and Thomas Edmunds; his daughter Patricia Edmunds-Stebbins; and his sister Marjorie Lepak. He is survived by : his wife Deidra Edmunds; his children, Shawnette Ruzicka, James Edmunds (Cathy) and Robert Edmunds (Beth); his grandchildren, Charles Stebbins-Harrison (Drew), Jonathan Edmunds (Amethyst), Ashley Edmunds-Alfieri (Dan), Heather Edmunds (Joe) and James Edmunds (Stephanie); and his siblings, Phyllis Crest and Thomas Edmunds Jr..

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Fred's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
